All recordings and app settings remain on your device and are not uploaded to any external server unless:

  • You share a recording or transcript via email, messaging, or cloud storage.
  • You manually back up your data using iCloud or other services.

We do not have access to your recordings or data at any time.

3. Voice Recognition & CarPlay Integration

Auto Memo provides CarPlay voice command functionality, which is processed via Apple’s on-device speech recognition.

  • Voice commands (e.g., “Start Recording,” “Stop Recording”) are processed locally on your device and are not sent to external servers.
  • Transcriptions (if used) rely on Apple’s Speech Recognition API, which is subject to Apple’s privacy policies.

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to third parties. The only way your data leaves your device is if you choose to share it via:

Auto Memo includes silence detection to prompt users if they wish to continue recording.

  • No audio is transmitted externally.
  • The silence detection feature operates entirely on your device.
  • Users can disable silence detection in Settings at any time.
